Kyrgyzstan vs Maldives 5-0

Kyrgyzstan produced a dominant display in this international friendly, overwhelming Maldives 5-0 on Monday 28 September 2026. The result was effectively settled before half-time, as the hosts raced into a commanding lead and never allowed their opponents a way back into the match.

E. Atabaev opened the scoring in the 11th minute, and Kyrgyzstan doubled the advantage through S. Astanakulov in the 20th minute. Atabaev then struck again three minutes later to make it 3-0, underlining Kyrgyzstan’s early control and relentless attacking pressure.

The one-sided first half continued with V. Murzakov adding a fourth in the 32nd minute, before J. Kojo completed the scoring in the 42nd minute. By the interval, Kyrgyzstan had already put the contest beyond doubt.

There were no further goals after the break, but the first-half burst was enough to secure a comprehensive win. Kyrgyzstan will take confidence from the clean sheet and the spread of goalscorers, while Maldives were left chasing the game from the opening quarter of an hour.
