Arsenal have reportedly set a price of €40m to €45m for Gabriel Martinelli, with talks over a move to Al Hilal still ongoing.
Negotiations continue
According to ESPN Brazil, the Saudi club are pursuing the 24-year-old winger as they look to strengthen their attack. Arsenal are said to be unwilling to let him go cheaply, despite his contract running until the summer of 2027.
A final agreement on the transfer fee has not yet been reached, and the player’s personal terms would also need to be settled.
Martinelli open to switch
ESPN Brazil also reported that Martinelli is positive about the move and comfortable living in Riyadh. The same report said his family would not oppose a spell in Saudi football.
Martinelli joined Arsenal from Ituano in January 2019 and became a regular part of Mikel Arteta’s squad, but his role has reportedly diminished in recent months. Al Hilal are hoping to use that situation to bring him to Riyadh.
