Carlo Ancelotti said Brazil are now playing as a team after their 3-0 win over Scotland sealed a place in the round of 16 at the 2026 World Cup.
The Brazil coach said the side were not perfect and still have areas to improve, pointing in particular to their speed in possession. But he added that the team had already improved from their opening match.
Ancelotti stressed that solidity and cohesion will matter more now the knockout rounds have begun.
Neymar also drew the loudest reaction from the Miami crowd. The 34-year-old made a brief return to the national side after almost three years away, and Ancelotti said he earned the chance because of the work he has done to get back into shape.
He added that Neymar can still help Brazil in this tournament because of his ability, and said the forward did well in the minutes he played.
