Ancelotti tops 2026 World Cup coaches' pay list

Carlo Ancelotti is the highest-paid head coach at the 2026 World Cup, earning €10 million a year with Brazil.

The Italian, who took charge after his latest spell at Real Madrid, sits clear of the field. Brazil have turned to the 66-year-old as they try to end a 24-year wait for a World Cup title.

Julian Nagelsmann is second on €7 million a year with Germany. The former Bayern Munich boss reportedly earned €9 million there, but has taken a lower salary to lead the national team.

Mauricio Pochettino is third on €6 million a year with the United States. The rest of the top 10 features Thomas Tuchel at England on €5.8 million, Fabio Cannavaro and Roberto Martinez on €4 million each, Didier Deschamps on €3.8 million, Ronald Koeman and Marcelo Bielsa on €3 million, and Javier Aguirre on €2.5 million.

The figures underline the gulf in pay between the biggest names in international management and the lower end of the list.
