Bosnia and Herzegovina coach Sergej Barbarez said the 1-1 draw with Canada was a fair result after the sides shared the points in their Group B opener.
Bosnia led through a goal from Jovo Lukić, but Canada levelled after the break to deny them an opening win. Barbarez said his team had been fortunate in some moments as well as dangerous going forward.
"If we are realistic, we were lucky in some situations too, just as we created good chances in attack," he said. "I think in the end 1-1 was completely fair for both teams."
Barbarez described the point as useful for Bosnia's group-stage campaign, but refused to get into early qualification calculations after only one match.
He said two games remain and Bosnia must try to win both before looking at the standings. Barbarez also praised his players' collective effort, while highlighting his satisfaction that the striker he backed found the net.
