Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement in principle for Ferran Torres, with the Spain forward expected to join the French club in a deal worth about €50 million (£42.7 million).
Transfer set for Paris
The 26-year-old missed Barcelona training this week with the club's permission as the move was finalised. He has been at Barcelona since 2022 and spent two seasons at Manchester City before that.
Strong season for Barça
Torras' exit follows a productive campaign in which he scored 21 goals in 49 appearances and added three assists as Barcelona won La Liga.
Spain record adds to his value
He also played a key role in Spain's World Cup triumph this summer, scoring in extra time against Argentina. Torres has 25 goals in 65 appearances for his country.
