Bayern Munich are weighing a winter move for Dani Olmo, with the Barcelona midfielder on the German club’s January shortlist, according to 360.
Barcelona’s price tag
Barcelona are understood to be open to talks if an offer lands in the €80m to €90m range. The 28-year-old returned from Leipzig in summer 2024 for a fee reported at about €55m to €61m.
Olmo has made around 96 appearances for Barcelona, scoring 20 goals and adding 20 assists. He has started this season with three league assists, and his role under Hansi Flick has grown.
Bayern’s interest
Bayern have tracked Olmo for years and twice made bids during his time at Dinamo Zagreb and Leipzig, both of which he rejected. Max Eberl knows him well from their Leipzig days, and Bayern see him as cover if they face uncertainty over Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise.
Olmo can operate as a number 10, on the wing or in other attacking roles. A January deal still looks difficult, with Bayern not under immediate pressure to buy and Barcelona unlikely to lose him easily.
