Bellingham secures a unique landmark!

Jude Bellingham has become the first England player to score twice in two straight World Cup knockout matches, adding another landmark to his tournament. His latest brace puts him in a small group of only five players to manage the feat.

Bellingham now sits alongside Sándor Kocsis, Pelé, Garrincha and Diego Maradona in one of the World Cup’s most exclusive scoring lists. Kocsis did it in 1954, Pelé in 1958, Garrincha in 1962 and Maradona in 1986.

The Real Madrid midfielder has done more than finish chances. He has carried responsibility in midfield and still found his way into dangerous areas around the box, becoming one of England’s main attacking outlets.

His influence has shaped much of England’s tactical approach at the tournament, with his running from deep, sharp finishing and timing in key moments standing out throughout the knockout run.
