Chelsea have made a habit of scoring early in the Premier League this season, with six of their 15 goals arriving inside the first seven minutes of matches.
Fast starts in numbers
That means 40% of Chelsea's league goals have come in the opening stages, a return that followed the 5-1 win over Bournemouth on 10 October. Jordan Henderson scored in the second minute and Morgan Rogers added another in the third.
The other early goals have come against Fulham, Brighton, Arsenal and Hull City. João Pedro scored after one minute against Fulham, Romeo Lavia struck in the fourth minute against Brighton, and Rogers netted in the second minute against Arsenal before scoring in the seventh against Hull City.
What the pattern has done
The run has given Chelsea quick control of matches and forced opponents onto the back foot from the first whistle.
