Manchester City are preparing an €81 million bid for Chelsea winger Pedro Neto, according to The Sun.
City target attacking reinforcement
City have made Neto one of their main transfer targets as they look to add more quality and depth to their forward line ahead of next season. If the move goes through, it would rank among the bigger deals of the summer in Europe.
Chelsea have not set out a stance
Tottenham, Liverpool and Milan have also been named as potential suitors, but City’s financial position could give them an edge if they submit that offer.
Chelsea have not issued a formal position on Neto’s future. The London club regard him as an important part of their sporting project and are expected to entertain approaches only if any bid matches their valuation. That would make any talks between the clubs difficult.
