Google puts World Cup 2026 football on sale

Google has added a branded World Cup 2026 football to its online store as the tournament gets under way.

The ball is called the Google Stadium Soccer Ball and uses the company’s familiar blue, red, yellow and green colours. Google says it has a standard stitched pattern, with the Google logo on one panel and a ’26 mark on another.

The company says the ball is meant for friendly matches and for playing with friends on the pitch. It is listed at $45 on Google’s store page.

Buyers will need to wait a while for delivery. Google says shipping will not begin until the end of June, which means the ball will not reach customers in the opening weeks of the competition.

Google has also said some physical stores in New York, California and other locations may get stock earlier, though it has not guaranteed that. The ball is not the only football-themed item in Google’s merchandise range, with the company also selling World Cup 2026 shirts and scarves in the UK.
