Inter have built much of their 2026 summer transfer business around the Premier League, with four arrivals either completed or nearing completion.
Spence leads Premier League recruitment
Jedd Spence was Inter's first major signing from England's top flight. The defender joined from Tottenham for about £30 million and signed a deal until 2031.
Spence, who also has Serie A experience with Genoa, is expected to play a key role on the right side in Cristian Chivu's three-man defence.
Further additions from City and Liverpool
Manuel Akanji has also moved from Manchester City, bringing experience that Inter believe will strengthen their back line.
John Stones joined on a free transfer after his City contract ended, and Inter have announced a deal running until June 2028.
The fourth case, Curtis Jones, was still being finalised when the report was written. Liverpool had agreed to his move to Inter for a package worth about €35 million, and the midfielder had travelled to Italy for medical tests.
Taken together, the four deals add youth, physical presence and Premier League know-how to Chivu's squad. With the figures given for Spence, Akanji and Jones, plus Stones' free transfer, Inter's direct outlay is said to be more than €78 million.
