Iran face Egypt in Seattle on Saturday at 06:30 in the final round of the 2026 World Cup group stage.
The match could decide top spot in the group and one of the teams that go through to the knockout round.
Iran sit second on two points after a goalless draw with Belgium. Amir قلعهنویی's side opened with a 2-2 draw against New Zealand and followed that with a disciplined defensive display against Belgium.
Egypt lead the group on four points. They drew 1-1 with Belgium before beating New Zealand 3-1, with Mohamed Salah, Mostafa Ziko and Trezeguet on target.
Belgium also have two points, while New Zealand are bottom on one, so the other match in the group could also shape qualification.
Iran are unbeaten in five and have three wins, two draws and one defeat in their last six matches, scoring 13 goals. Egypt have three wins, two draws and one defeat in the same run, with 10 goals scored and four conceded.
