The exciting race for the Premier League Golden Boot has begun.

The Premier League’s top scorer race is already tightly packed, with Alexander Isak, Bruno Fernandes and Erling Haaland all on three goals after the opening weeks.

Isak opens his Liverpool account

Alexander Isak, who joined Liverpool in a big move last summer, has quickly found the net. In Liverpool’s recent match against Ipswich, the Sweden striker scored twice before the ninth minute and both goals in the game, taking him to three for the season.

Fernandes follows with a hat-trick

Bruno Fernandes has also made a fast start for Manchester United. The Portugal captain scored three times against Ipswich, his second Premier League hat-trick, and added an assist in the same match.

Haaland stays in touch

Erling Haaland, who won the Premier League Golden Boot last season with 27 goals, joined the three-goal group after scoring Manchester City’s only goal in their third game of the season against Coventry.

That strike was the 300th senior club goal of Haaland’s career. With three of the league’s biggest names level already, the early scoring race has taken shape quickly.
