Joao Pedro has made a strong start to his Premier League career for Chelsea, with eight direct goal involvements in his first six matches.
Early return
The Brazilian forward has scored five goals and set up three more, giving him more than one direct contribution per game on average in the opening weeks of the season.
Pedro's numbers also point to a wider role than finishing alone. He has affected games through his passing as well as his movement in the final third, with Chelsea benefiting from both sides of his attacking play.
His start leaves Chelsea with a forward who has delivered goals and assists in equal measure across a short run of games.
