Karem Alaybegovic named man of Bosnia-Qatar match

Bosnia defeated Qatar 3-1 on Sunday night, with Karem Alaybegovic named the best player of the match.

Alaybegovic scored one of Bosnia’s goals and spent 82 minutes on the pitch. He recorded 59 touches, sent in two corners, made three recoveries and completed one clearance.

The result leaves Bosnia with the win in this meeting, while Qatar finished bottom of Group B on one point and exited the competition.

Switzerland topped the group with seven points and advanced as leaders. Canada also finished on four points and went through in second place on goal difference.
