Jürgen Klopp has been linked with a move to Al-Ittihad, but his agent has dismissed the reports as unfounded and false.
Marc Kosicke said the recent claims were “completely baseless” and insisted there had been no negotiations or offer involving the German coach and the Saudi Pro League club.
Kosicke also criticised the repeated rumours in the media, saying they create unnecessary noise around football. He added that Klopp is not focused on any club project or talks with other teams at present.
Klopp’s name has been linked with several clubs in recent months, particularly sides outside Europe, but none of those reports have been confirmed. His profile means speculation over his next move tends to spread quickly whenever it appears.
