Lazio is unstoppable with Gattuso

Lazio have made an unbeaten start to the new Serie A season, taking 19 points from 21 and sitting joint-top with Inter after seven rounds.

Turin win caps strong opening

The latest result was a 3-0 away win over Juventus at the Allianz Stadium, with Oliver Provstgaard, Gustav Isaksen and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru on target.

Gattuso’s team began with a 1-0 win over Bologna, then beat Genoa by the same scoreline. They followed that with a 2-1 victory over Udinese, drew 2-2 with Milan, then beat Venezia 2-0 and Monza 3-1 before the trip to Turin.

Pressure off the pitch

The run has come while the club also faces boardroom problems and fan protests over Claudio Lotito’s ownership.

Lazio’s early form has put them among the title contenders, with the season still in its early stages.
