Manchester City’s summer spending has climbed beyond €295m as Enzo Maresca oversees a major squad rebuild at the Etihad.

The biggest deal so far is the arrival of Eliot Anderson for about €135m, a fee that sets a new club record. Matias Dtorbet has joined for €25m, Jeremi Monga for €15m, Pierce Charles for €3.5m and Jerenimo Rui for more than €5m.
Maresca’s own move into the dugout is also understood to have cost City around €20m.
More targets still on the list
Negotiations over Lille midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi are ongoing, with the transfer potentially rising to around €90m. Reports say a personal agreement is already in place, leaving only the financial details between the clubs to settle.
City are also tracking Enzo Fernandez, though a deal with Chelsea would be difficult and expensive. Pedro Neto is another name under consideration, especially if Savinho leaves, while Malo Gusto has been identified as a possible option at right-back.
If more of those moves land, City’s summer total could climb to a historic level.
