Morocco reach last 16 after beating Haiti 4-2

Morocco beat Haiti 4-2 in Philadelphia to secure a place in the last 16 of the 2026 World Cup.

Haiti struck first in the 10th minute after an own goal by Morocco goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, but Morocco levelled through Achraf Hakimi in the 39th minute. Haiti then went back ahead before the break when Wilson Isidor scored in the 43rd minute.

Morocco hit back almost immediately, with Ismael Saibari making it 2-2 in the 45th minute to move to three goals in the tournament. The second half was tighter, but Sofiane Rahimi put Morocco ahead in the 78th minute after a fine turn in the box, and Yassine Jassim added a fourth in the 87th.

The result leaves Morocco on seven points and through as Group C runners-up. Brazil top the group on seven points with a better goal difference after beating Scotland 3-0 in the other match. Scotland finish third on three points, while Haiti exit without a point.
