Netflix will release a FIFA World Cup game on mobile devices on 11 June, with the title available free to all subscribers.
The game is called FIFA World Cup: Launch Edition and uses smartphone controls. Netflix said the simplified football simulator includes all 48 teams set to feature at the 2026 World Cup.
It can be played solo or in multiplayer with up to four players.
Netflix first said in December that it would host a reimagined FIFA football simulator. The company said the game will evolve over time, while giving users an immediate World Cup 2026 experience.
For players who prefer management to action on the pitch, official World Cup content is also available in Football Manager 26. That game received its first World Cup-related update last month, with another due in June before the real tournament begins.
