David Raya has opened up a clear lead in the Premier League clean-sheet race, reaching 51 in 111 games for Arsenal.
Raya’s numbers stand out
The Spain international has kept a clean sheet in almost half of his league appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side since his first Arsenal game in 2023. That works out at about 46 per cent.
Jordan Pickford is second on the list with 38 clean sheets in 114 matches. Alisson Becker and Dean Henderson have 26 each, while Bart Verbruggen sits on 23.
The gap to Pickford is 13, underlining how quickly Raya has moved clear at the top of the standings.
Strong start to this season
Raya’s form has also helped Arsenal’s bright start to the current campaign. He saved a penalty and made other key stops in the 2-0 win over Sunderland, a result that gave Arsenal a fourth straight victory.
Arteta’s team have conceded only once in their first four league matches, with Raya a central part of that defensive record.
