Cristiano Ronaldo has said there is a chance he will end his playing career at the end of this season.
Ronaldo opens up on retirement
The Al Nassr forward made the comments while continuing his spell in the Saudi Pro League. Ronaldo, 42, said: "Maybe this will be my last year in football. Yes, it’s possible. I want to leave a bright and amazing legacy."
He added that retirement would give him more time to rest, travel and do other things.
Final season talk comes after league title
Ronaldo won the Saudi league title with Al Nassr for the first time last season. He is now aiming to add another major honour with the club during this campaign.
The Portuguese forward said he wants to finish his career with a strong legacy, but did not set out any firm timeline beyond acknowledging that this season could be his last.
