The Spanish Football Federation has postponed every Copa del Rey match scheduled for Wednesday, 28 October, after a fatal road crash in the Ordesa area.
Wednesday's fixtures called off
The federation said the decision was taken out of respect for the victims, and that no matches will be played in Spain on Wednesday night. It added that new dates for the postponed ties will be announced after further review.
The status of Thursday's scheduled matches is still unclear, with Spanish football chiefs due to decide in the coming hours whether those games will go ahead or also be moved.
A full round of games affected
Twenty-four matches were due to be played on Wednesday evening, starting at 19:00 local time with fixtures involving Deportivo Alavés, Levante, Huesca and Eibar. The programme was then set to continue at 20:00 with Mallorca v Alcoyano, Tenerife v Badajoz, Valladolid v Covadonga and Leganés v Trioval Valderas.
Later games at 21:00, including Real Betis v Navalcarnero, Celta Vigo v Salamanca, Valencia v Tavernes and the Cádiz derby against Xerez, were also pushed back.
