The 2026 summer transfer window has pushed the Turkish Super Lig further into the spotlight, with several forwards from Europe’s top leagues moving to Turkey.
Big-name attackers head to Istanbul and beyond
Dusan Vlahovic joined Besiktas on a free transfer after his Juventus contract expired, signing until 2029. Besiktas also brought in Leandro Trossard from Arsenal on a three-year deal, with the Premier League club set to receive about €18 million.
Mohamed Salah made one of the window’s biggest moves by leaving Liverpool for Trabzonspor after his contract ended. The Egyptian forward signed a two-year deal, a switch that has drawn wide attention across European football.
Mason Greenwood left Marseille for Fenerbahce in a deal reported at about €39 million, making him one of the most expensive signings in Super Lig history. Rafael Leao has also moved to Galatasaray, adding another high-profile attacking name to the league.
