USA and Türkiye meet in the group stage

The United States and Turkey meet in the final round of the World Cup 2026 group stage in a game with little on the line for the standings, but plenty for both teams’ momentum.

The US arrive with two straight wins, over Paraguay and Australia, and have already clinched first place in the group. Maurizio Pochettino’s side have looked sharp in both matches, using pace, pressing and quick attacking play to control games.

This match now gives them a chance to leave a better impression against the group’s strongest side, while the US can carry winning form into the knockout rounds.
