Vinícius Júnior has said the World Cup stands apart from every other competition, and that Brazil need to improve on their last tournament.
Speaking at a press conference, the forward described his role with the national side as important and said he wants to represent both his family and his country. He said reaching the tournament after hard work meant a great deal to him, and that he wants to use the stage to show he can become champion.
Vinícius added that Brazil have everything needed for a strong World Cup, but stressed the importance of concentration. He said coach Tite has reminded the squad that small details can decide matches.
He also praised Morocco, pointing to their progress in recent years and their Africa Cup of Nations title, but said Brazil are ready to show their own quality. Vinícius said this is the most special moment of his career and that he feels in his best physical and technical condition.
