Paykan vs Malavan 1-1

Paykan and Malavan drew 1-1 after a first half that brought both goals and a red card. Paykan led through R. Shekari, Malavan levelled before the break, and the visitors kept the point.

The home side went ahead in the 30th minute when R. Shekari scored from A. Madadizadeh's assist to make it 1-0. Malavan drew level six minutes later, with E. Shahriari making it 1-1. The match was level at half-time.

Paykan were down to 10 men in the 23rd minute when E. Jamshidi was sent off, but they still found the first goal through Shekari. He was replaced by M. Sayyar on 49 minutes. Malavan then made three changes on 70 minutes, with A. Ramezani, F. Jafari and H. Sadeghi going off, while Paykan made two on 71 minutes. Neither side found a winner in the closing stages, and Paykan made more substitutions after M. Sayyar was replaced by S. Ashouri on 85 minutes and M. Najafi by A. Fathi on 86 minutes.

The statistics show a level match settled by a goal apiece rather than one side pulling away. Both teams finished on 1-1, and the timeline points to a contest shaped more by the red card and the equaliser before half-time than by a sustained spell of pressure from either side.

Discipline was an issue throughout. Malavan's A. Afsordeh was booked in the 13th minute and F. Jafari in first-half stoppage time, while A. Ramezani was booked on 68 minutes. Paykan's E. Jamshidi was sent off on 23 minutes, M. Sayyar was booked on 58 minutes, M. Mashayekh on 90+2 minutes, and an unnamed Paykan player was booked in the 90+5th minute.
