Al Ain won 4-1 at Basra Sports City after taking a 3-1 lead by half-time and seeing off a late Al Quwa Al Jawiya push. Houssine Rahimi scored twice for the visitors, while Mohammad Jawad's missed penalty and late reply were not enough to change the outcome.

Houssine Rahimi then restored the lead on 23 minutes from Matías Palacios' pass, and Rahimi made it 3-1 in the 43rd minute with Soufiane Rahimi supplying the assist.
