Sigma Olomouc vs Slovan Liberec 1-0

Sigma Olomouc beat Slovan Liberec 1-0 at Andruv Stadion thanks to Matej Hadas's 11th-minute goal, and two later VAR calls went against the visitors.

Hadas scored in the 11th minute from David Tkáč's assist to put Sigma 1-0 ahead, and that remained the half-time score.

Slovan spent much of the second half chasing the game and thought they had found a way back in on 54 minutes, when Matěj Mikulenka had a goal ruled out by VAR. The visitors then made two changes on 64 and 65 minutes, before Sigma replaced Tkáč with Jan Kliment on 66 minutes and later took off Hadas for Anton Ekeroth on 73. Another VAR decision went against Slovan on 74 minutes when Patrik Dulay's original decision was changed, and Lukáš Masek also had a goal cancelled on 86 minutes after Slovan had made two changes at once on 80 minutes, with Aleko Basiladze and Patrik Dulay replaced by Vénuste Baboula and Milan Lexa. Sigma then sent on Hilmir Rafn Mikaelsson for Vaclav Sejk on 85 minutes, before Slovan's Lukáš Masopust made way for Enej Marsetic on 89.

Slovan had more of the ball with 57% possession and 364 passes to Sigma's 446, while also outshooting the home side 18-12 and having 6 shots on target to 3. They won 11 corners to 4 and finished with 1.11 expected goals to Sigma's 1.02, but Sigma's six saves compared with Slovan's two helped preserve the result.

Slovan's Vojtech Stransky was booked on 38 minutes, Alexandr Buzek on 75, and Sigma's Jan Kliment in the 90th minute plus 6. There were no red cards.
