Bayern Munich have become the second club to pass 600 Champions League goals since the start of the 21st century, after Real Madrid. The German side reached the mark across more than two decades of regular involvement in the competition.
Bayern's scoring record
Bayern's Champions League tally since 2000-01 reflects a long run of deep campaigns and a series of prolific forwards. Roy Makaay, Mario Gomez, Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Müller and Harry Kane have all added heavily to the total at different points.
Lewandowski leads Bayern's all-time list in the competition with 69 goals, while Müller is second with 57. Kane, who joined Bayern in 2023, has already moved quickly towards those numbers.
Kane matches another European mark
Vincent Kompany's side opened this season's league phase with a 5-0 win over Bodø/Glimt before drawing 3-3 with Viking after scoring three times against the Norwegian side.
Kane scored twice in that game and Luis Díaz added the other Bayern goal. The England striker has now scored in nine consecutive Champions League matches, matching Lewandowski and Ruud van Nistelrooy. Only Cristiano Ronaldo, with goals in 11 straight games, sits above him on that list.
