Real Madrid CF: History, Honours and the Legacy of Los Blancos

Real Madrid CF is one of the most successful and recognisable football clubs in the world. Founded in 1902, the Madrid-based club has built a global reputation through its domestic dominance, European success and history of world-class players.

Known as Los Blancos because of their iconic all-white kit, Real Madrid have won 36 La Liga titles and 20 Copa del Rey trophies. Their record in European competition is even more remarkable: the club has won the European Cup and UEFA Champions League 15 times, more than any other team. These achievements have helped define Real Madrid's identity as a club associated with high expectations and success on the biggest stage.

The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is at the heart of the club's history. Real Madrid have also featured generations of legendary footballers, from Alfredo Di Stéfano and Raúl to Cristiano Ronaldo and more recent stars. Their history combines sporting achievement, international reach and a long-standing rivalry with Barcelona.
