Jude Bellingham’s two goals for England against Norway in the 2026 World Cup quarter-finals took Real Madrid past a long-standing tournament record.
Madrid players have now scored 19 goals at the finals, moving ahead of the previous mark of 18 held by Honvéd in 1954, Bayern Munich in 2014 and Paris Saint-Germain in 2022.
Bellingham has six goals in the tournament and sits second in Real Madrid’s scoring chart behind Kylian Mbappé, who has eight. Vinícius has four, while Arda Güler has one for Turkey.
Honvéd’s 1954 tally was driven by Sándor Kocsis, who scored 11 of the club’s 18 goals. Bayern’s 2014 total was led by Thomas Müller with five, while PSG’s 2022 total featured eight from Mbappé and seven from Lionel Messi.
