هانسی فلیک has set another Barcelona milestone after the 5-0 win over Valencia, moving clear as the club’s most successful coach by wins in his first 80 La Liga matches.

Flick’s tally now stands at 63 wins from his opening 80 league games. That puts him one ahead of Luis Enrique, who managed 62, and two ahead of Pep Guardiola on 61.
The margin is narrow, but the pace is notable. Flick has reached the mark while entering his third season at the club, having already delivered back-to-back La Liga titles in his first two campaigns.
Strong start to this season
Barcelona’s start to the current campaign has helped drive the record. They have won their opening four league matches, collected 12 points and sit top of the table.
The victory over Valencia was their fourth straight win in all competitions this season.
Flick has also moved past Johan Cruyff on weeks spent top of La Liga. After the Valencia match, he reached 60 weeks leading the table in his 80 weeks in the competition, compared with Cruyff’s 59 in his coaching career.
