Erling Haaland scored twice as Norway beat Brazil and moved on to seven goals at the 2026 World Cup.
The 25-year-old has now drawn level with Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi in the tournament’s scoring chart after another decisive display in the last-16 tie, which also confirmed Brazil’s exit.
Haaland has featured in four matches for Norway and failed to score only once, in the game he did not play as Norway lost 4-1 to France in the final group fixture.
His tournament has been built on a run of multi-goal performances. He scored twice against Iraq, repeated the feat against Senegal, and then added another two against Brazil to keep Norway’s progress moving and put him firmly in the race for the Golden Boot.
