Liverpool now have three of the five most expensive signings in Premier League history after Bradley Barcola’s official arrival from Paris Saint-Germain.
Barcola deal takes Liverpool's spending higher
According to Futbali, Barcola has joined for a package worth about £121 million including bonuses. That puts the French winger third on the all-time Premier League transfer list.
Alexander Isak remains top after Liverpool paid about £124.3 million to sign him from Newcastle in summer 2025. That move set a new Premier League record and made the Sweden forward the most expensive player in English football history.
Three of the top five now at Anfield
Morgan Rogers is next on the list with a £117 million move from Aston Villa to Chelsea, followed by Elliot Anderson at about £116 million. Florian Wirtz completes the top five with a deal valued at roughly £115 million.
Isak and Wirtz had already moved to Anfield before Barcola, underlining how aggressively Liverpool have operated in the transfer market over the past two years. Their spending in summer 2025 on Isak and Wirtz was already historic, and Barcola now becomes the third major piece of that project.
