Kylian Mbappe has said winning the Champions League with Real Madrid is his biggest target, even above the Ballon d’Or.

Speaking on CBS Sports Golazo, Mbappe said lifting the trophy with Madrid matters “more than anything else”. He added that he wants the club to achieve “something special” and compete with the best teams in the world as a unit.
Mbappe said last season’s Champions League campaign was “a bit difficult” for Madrid, but stressed that the club must always operate at the highest level. He said he hopes the team can compete together this season and reach the level it wants.
Mourinho and pressure
Mbappe also reflected on Jose Mourinho, saying the coach makes players feel “alive” and involved, while also applying heavy pressure. He described Mourinho as intense in training and constant in his communication with players.
He said that kind of trust and pressure pushes a player not to let the manager down and to deliver their best performance.
