The Netherlands meet Tunisia at 02:30 Iran time on Friday in a key World Cup group match, with both sides still chasing their final place in the standings.
The Dutch arrive in far better shape. They drew with Japan in a difficult opening game before beating Sweden convincingly, and have looked one of the sharper sides in the tournament so far.
Koeman’s team have shown variety in attack, good width and strong control in midfield. Their forwards have moved well, their transitions have been quick and they have punished mistakes when they have appeared.
Tunisia, by contrast, have had a hard campaign. A heavy defeat to Sweden in their first game was followed by a loss to Japan, leaving them with little margin for error.
They have shown effort and a willingness to fight back, but the gap in quality has been clear. Even so, World Cup group matches often turn on pressure and motivation, and Tunisia will look to end on a more positive note while the Netherlands aim to finish top.
