Michael Olise has been named the Bundesliga's most valuable player in Transfermarkt's latest update, with his valuation rising from €150m to €170m.
The Bayern Munich winger's new figure makes him the most expensive player ever to feature in the Bundesliga, overtaking the €150m mark set by Erling Haaland during his Borussia Dortmund spell. It also places Olise fourth among the world's most valuable players.
Olise's rise follows his outstanding World Cup campaign, where he finished with seven assists and set a new record for the most assists in a single edition of the tournament. France ultimately finished fourth.
Bayern are understood to view the 24-year-old as untouchable despite reported interest from Real Madrid and Liverpool. They signed him from Crystal Palace in 2024 for €53m and are even considering extending his contract to 2031. In 107 senior appearances for Bayern, Olise has scored 42 goals and supplied 54 assists.
