Pascal Gross has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for September, the first time the 35-year-old has won the award in his career.

Gross's September form

Gross played three league matches for Brighton in September 2026 and had a direct hand in five goals, scoring twice and setting up three more. His month included a major role in Brighton’s 5-0 win over Coventry, where he scored from the penalty spot and added two assists.

Place in the record books

The award also makes Gross the sixth-oldest player in Premier League history to be named Player of the Month. He was 35 years and three months old when he received the honour.
