The draw ceremony for the UEFA Champions League football competition was held at 7:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Tehran time) at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, with all 36 teams participating in this season’s competition learning their opponents.
The ceremony also featured several special guests, including David Villa, Thierry Henry, Raphaël Varane, Javier Zanetti, and Luís Figo.
The new UEFA Champions League season will begin on Tuesday, September 8, and the final will be played on Saturday, June 5, 2027, at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, Spain.
In today’s draw, the 36 teams were divided into four seeding pots. In the league phase, each team will face two teams from each of the four pots.
The opponents of the teams in Pot 1, which includes some of the main contenders for the title, are as follows:
