Turkey end Vincenzo Montella's contract after Nations League slump

Turkey have said they will end their working relationship with Vincenzo Montella after a UEFA Nations League campaign left them bottom of Group A.

Nations League run

The Turkish Football Federation announced the decision after four consecutive defeats against France, Italy twice and Belgium. That run left Turkey at the foot of Group A.

Montella, 52, took charge in September 2023 and oversaw 40 matches. His record was 21 wins, five draws and 14 defeats.
