Al-Hazm vs Al-Fayha 2-2

Al-Hazm drew 2-2 with Al-Fayha after leading twice and then having to settle for a point. Bonheur Mugisha put them ahead early, but Fashion Sakala levelled before the break, and a late own goal and a penalty meant the home side were unable to hold on to a result that had been within reach.

Mugisha opened the scoring in the 5th minute from Amir Saâyoud's assist to make it 1-0. Sakala equalised on 33 minutes, finishing Jason Remeseiro's pass for 1-1. The half-time score was 1-1.

Al-Hazm went back in front in the 69th minute when Sultan Tanker turned the ball into his own net, and the score moved to 2-1. That came two minutes after Al-Hazm made two changes on 67 minutes, sending on Ahmed Al-Shamrani for Sofiane Bendebka and Waleed Al-Shanqiti for Afimico Pululu. Al-Fayha had already made a change in the 37th minute, with Turki Al Jaadi replacing Ahmed Bamasud, and they made another on 69 minutes when Fahad Al Hubayshi came on for Yago Souza. Al-Hazm then added a third on 89 minutes, as Amir Saâyoud scored from the penalty spot to seal the 3-1 scoreline.

The numbers were close. Al-Fayha had 52% of the possession and 410 passes to Al-Hazm's 393, but the hosts had more shots, 14 to 10, and more on target, 7 to 4. Al-Hazm also finished with 2.18 expected goals to Al-Fayha's 0.98, while corners were level at 7-7 and saves were 5 for Al-Fayha and 2 for Al-Hazm. Al-Hazm were called for 14 fouls to Al-Fayha's 11, and the visitors edged the offsides count 3-2.

Sofiane Bendebka was booked for Al-Hazm in the 59th minute and Ali Al-Hussain was shown a yellow card for Al-Fayha on 66 minutes. There were no red cards.
