ST Johnstone vs Dundee Utd 1-1

ST Johnstone and Dundee Utd drew 1-1 at McDiarmid Park after Lyall Cameron levelled late for the visitors. Josh Fowler’s first-half opener had put ST Johnstone in front, but Dundee Utd got back into it on 79 minutes.

Fowler opened the scoring in the 21st minute, turning in a goal set up by Enes Alic to make it 1-0. That left ST Johnstone 1-0 Dundee Utd at half-time.

Dundee Utd made two changes on 63 minutes and were rewarded when Lyall Cameron equalised on 79 minutes, assisted by Jesse Randall, to make it 1-1. ST Johnstone responded with two changes of their own on 82 minutes, sending on Kai Fotheringham and Jamie Gullan, and both sides traded late bookings as the point was settled. The hosts did not regain the lead after that equaliser, despite Dundee Utd having more of the ball and more of the attacking weight.
