Scotland vs Switzerland 0-3

Switzerland won 3-0 at Hampden Park after Jack Hendry was sent off in the 11th minute, with Scotland already under pressure from a cancelled penalty against Dan Ndoye in the 8th minute. The visitors then controlled the rest of the night and added two more goals after the break.

Ricardo Rodríguez opened the scoring in the 12th minute to make it 1-0, and Scotland had already been forced into an early change when Kieron Bowie made way for Stephen Welsh in the 13th minute. The half-time score was Scotland 0-1 Switzerland.

Nico Elvedi made it 2-0 in the 55th minute from a Dan Ndoye assist, and Switzerland stayed in front after Scotland made three changes in the 59th minute, sending on Ben Gannon-Doak, Robbie Ure and Ryan Christie for Nathan Patterson, Oliver McBurnie and Billy Gilmour. Zeki Amdouni sealed it in the 82nd minute, again set up by Ndoye, before Switzerland made two changes in the 86th minute with Amdouni and Ndoye both coming off. Scotland also replaced Andrew Robertson with Josh Doig in the 74th minute.

The numbers backed the scoreline. Switzerland had 77% of the possession and 723 passes to Scotland's 216, and they outshot the hosts 23-2 with 9 shots on target to none. They also had 6 corners to 3 and forced Scotland goalkeeper action six times, while Scotland had 2 offsides and Switzerland none. Fouls were close at 14-13, and Scotland's only booking came after the break.
