Ukraine vs Hungary 1-2

Hungary left Trnava with a 2-1 win after Mark Csinger struck in the 85th minute, three minutes after Ukraine had levelled through Roman Yaremchuk. Milan Tóth had put Hungary in front early in the second half, and the visitors held on after the late equaliser.

The first half brought no goals, with Ukraine and Hungary both kept out before the break. It stayed 0-0 at half-time.

Hungary broke through in the 52nd minute when Milan Tóth finished from Milan Vitális for 1-0. Ukraine turned to its bench on 60 minutes, making three changes at once, and Yaremchuk later made an impact after coming on in that window. He equalised in the 83rd minute from Oleksandr Pikhalyonok, who had come on in the 70th minute, only for Csinger to restore Hungary's lead two minutes later from Rajmund Tóth, who had entered in the 72nd minute. Hungary had also made two changes on 72 minutes, including the replacement of scorer Milan Tóth.

Ukraine had 52% of the ball and 457 passes to Hungary's 417, as well as more shots, 16-10, and more corners, 5-4. Hungary, though, put 4 of their 10 shots on target compared with Ukraine's 2, and the visitors also won the foul count 13-10.

Ukraine's Egor Nazaryna was booked in the 20th minute. Hungary had two yellow cards, for Dániel Lukács on 55 minutes and Rajmund Tóth on 78 minutes. There were no red cards.
