Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain will face each other again in the 2026/27 Champions League league phase after Thursday's draw in Monaco.
Another familiar showdown
The meeting renews one of European football's most repeated recent ties. The clubs have crossed paths regularly in the competition, including Barcelona's famous comeback against PSG in 2017.
PSG enter the campaign as holders, while Barcelona are again being talked up as one of the main contenders for the trophy. Luis Enrique's side will also face Barcelona in a tie that carries extra interest because the coach previously managed the Catalan club.
Barcelona's other league-phase opponents are Manchester City, Aston Villa, Feyenoord, Como, Sporting, Galatasaray and Sabah. PSG will also play Manchester City, Roma, Aston Villa, Galatasaray, Villarreal, Slovan Bratislava and Como.
Format and dates
The league phase runs from 8 to 10 September 2026, with each team playing eight matches. The top eight go straight into the round of 16, while sides finishing ninth to 24th will enter the play-offs for a place in the last 16.
