La Liga has confirmed that the first El Clásico of the 2026-27 season will be played at Barcelona’s Camp Nou on Sunday, 25 October, with kick-off at 23:30 Iran time.
Recent meetings
Last season’s league meetings were split between the two sides. Real Madrid won 2-1 at the Bernabéu in the first half of the campaign, before Hansi Flick’s Barcelona won 2-0 at Camp Nou in the return fixture.
They also met in the Spanish Super Cup final in Saudi Arabia, where Barcelona won 3-2 to lift the trophy.
Early-season form
Barcelona have made the stronger start in the new league season and sit top of La Liga after taking nine points from their first three matches.
Real Madrid are level on nine points after three games as well, but trail the Catalan side on goal difference after José Mourinho’s return to the bench.
