Spain have called up Jacobo Ramon for the first time in Luis de la Fuente's latest squad, with the 21-year-old Como defender the only Serie A player in the group.
Ramon rewarded for strong start
Ramon, a product of Real Madrid's academy, has played almost every available minute for Como in their first 14 competitive matches of the 2026-27 season. He has also scored three goals and set up two more.
He scored in Como's 4-1 win over Manchester United in the Champions League and was involved in the 9-1 victory over Lens earlier this week.
Spain play the Czech Republic on 12 November and England on 15 November.
Martinez left out
There is no place in the squad for Inter goalkeeper Josep Martinez, who received his first Spain call-up last month.
De la Fuente's full squad includes four goalkeepers, eight defenders, eight midfielders and seven forwards. Ramon joins a defence that also includes Pau Cubarsi, Aymeric Laporte and Pedro Porro, while the attack contains Lamine Yamal, Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal.
