Jürgen Klopp is set to replace Julian Nagelsmann as Germany head coach, according to Radio Marca analyst Luz Monzón.
Monzón made the claim on La Tribu, saying the agreement had already been finalised three or four months ago. She said the German federation had prepared for the possibility of World Cup failure and viewed a change of coach as certain unless Germany reached the final.
Monzón added that Klopp had avoided taking another job because he knew what was coming. She said the former Liverpool manager had reached an understanding with the federation and was aware he would be the next national team coach.
The comments came during a discussion on Germany's exit to Paraguay, as well as the tournament departures of the Netherlands and the form of Brazil and Spain ahead of their meeting with Austria.
